Hyderabadi Chicken Masala
Chicken 1 kg
 2 medium sized onions cut in slices
Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Oil 5 tablespoons 
Yogurt 1 cup
whole red chilli 11
Roasted chickpeas(bhunay Hoya chanay)or gram flour 1 tbsp
cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Black pepper 8
Cloves 5
Green cardamom 2
Cinnamon 1 inch stick

Desicated coconut 1 tbsp

Poppy seeds 1 tsp

Peanuts 1 tsp

salt 1 tsp

Coriander seeds 2 tbsp

turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

Dry roast cumin seeds,coriander seeds,chick peas,red chillies ,black pepper ,cloves,cinnamon,green cardamom,Desicated coconut,poppy seeds and peanuts on low heat till fragrant.

Now grind them in coffee grinder to make dry masala powder.

 Heat oil in a pan.fry onion till golden brown.

 take them out from oil.blend them with yogurt .
In the same pot Fry chicken and add blended mixture,also add all the remaining ingredients and dry Masala powder.Now cover the lid and cook on low flame for 20 minutes .
then fry well till all water comes from chicken and yogurt , dries out.Serve with chapati,naan or paratha.
