Handi Palak Qeema
Mince with spinach
Beef or chicken or lamb minced meat 1/2 kg
oil 4 tablespoons
Salt 1 tsp
Chili powder 1 n 1/2 tsp
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Roasted Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
Roasted Coriander powder 1 n 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon
Fine chopped tomatoes 4
Butter 1 tbsp
Fine chopped spinach 2 cup or 1/2 kg bunch
Green chilies 4
Kasoori methi 2 tbsp
2 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves
1 cup sliced Onions
Heat oil in a handi ..Now put onion ,fry nicely till golden brown.
Now add ginger garlic paste and fry for 5 minutes.
Now add beef minced meat,salt, chili powder, turmeric,cumin powder, , coriander powder and tomatoes.
Fry for 5 minutes and
Cover it and cook for 2 hours to get a smooth texture.keep the flame very low.if you are using chicken mince then cooking time will be 1 hour.Ater 1 hour and 30 minutes just add palak/spinach and cover the lid ..leave it to cook.
In the end, add Kasoori methi,garam masala powder,coriander leaves and green chilies.
Put 1 tbsp or a small piece of butter over the top…
serve with naan ,paratha ..
