Today I am going to introduce another Pakistani,,,who runs a blog named Blogs By FA….
Let’s meet Fatima

1:::Assalaam o Alaikum….Tell us about yourself?
Walaikum As Salaam….I’m Fatima, a UK lifestyle, food & travel blogger who loves

to explore different horizons in life.
Professionaly, an MBA, who was earlier working in Dubai as a

Marketing Specialist, but has now quit work after becoming a

I aim to bring to my readers everything they need to know

about UK lifestyle and to provide them an enjoyable reading

experience through my posts. I also do restaurant reviews

especially within Kent & London to make it easy for the

residents to find Halal options in the area because

personally, I felt there is a need of such bloggers as

finding Halal in a non-Muslim country can sometimes be very

2::Why and when did you start blogging?
I used to blog earlier on a very small scale but in September

2015, I rebranded my website and started taking it more

As mentioned above (Ans 1), I am stay-at-home mum now but

this always made me feel bad and I wanted to something rather

than just staying at home and living as a housewife. Although

I feel there is no harm in totally living as a housewife but

for a person like me who has worked all my life, wasn’t

getting the feeling of accomplishment.

3::Tell us about the layout and design of your blog?
It’s a very simple black and white minimilist blog design and

I’ve often been complimented on choosing it. I always try to

keep the pictures on my blog bright and clear so they stand-

out and grab attention of the visitors.

4::Do you have any relation to Pakistan?
Pakistan is my home country and I am a proud Pakistani!
5::Discuss about your photography skills?
I mostly use a DSLR Nikon to capture the photos for the blog,

otherwise it’s my iPhone, rarely though! However, for

Instagram, I mostly use iPhone.
I believe, I capture pretty decent photos but there is

always room for improvement. Have also often got postive

feedback with regards to photography from clients I have

worked with.
6::Your Hobbies?
Reading anything that is of interest (mostly anything minus

sports), exploring different places and trying out new restaurants.
7::Your favourite cuisine?
Pakistani food is the BEST! Sometimes I like eating Chinese

too (thanks to my husband, who LOVES it!).
8::How much time do you spare for your blogging?
I normally write 2 posts every week but I give a lot of time

to social media and in promoting my blog.
9::What aspect of blogging do you like most?
Getting to make blogger friends and sometimes

enjoyingcomplimentary meals.
10::Which aspect of blogging do you feel bad ?
Sometimes the techy side creates a glitch but that’s rare.

So, nothing really!
11::Do you think of blogging as a hobby or a career?
I’d say, it’s a hobby.
12::What was Your family response when you start your blog?
They were very supportive.
13::Which of your blog posts are your favourite?

These posts of my blog are my favourite……

    Hi my name is Janessa and I just wanted to drop you a quick note here instead of calling you. I came to your An Interview with Fatima  – Afreen’s kitchen page and noticed you could have a lot more traffic. I have found that the key to running a popular website is making sure the visitors you are getting are interested in your subject matter.

    Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title.Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword.There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video.

    Good interview and I have been reading Fatima’s post for some time and following the blog. One of the best things about the blog is its minimalist look. I really adore it.

    Just a suggestion to the blogger – It would be easier to read if the post had been formatted and proof read.
