(Eggless cookies )Naan khatai with gram flour

Ingredients

Flour 1 cup

Gram flour 4 tablespoons

Baking Soda 3/4 teaspoon

Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon

Banaspati ghee 1/2 cup

Grinded sugar 1/2 cup

Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon

Beaten Egg for brushing

Almonds for garnish

Method

Mix dry Ingredients in a bowl.Now add ghee and make a dough .Do not over mix.Now shape the dough into cookies and put sliced almonds.put on ungreased non stick baking tray.Brush with beaten egg.Bake in pre heated oven for 12 minutes at 180 degree centigrade…

Cool the cookies in baking tray .After that remove from tray and store in an air tight container..

  1. I don’t believe this! This is genius, masha’Allah. Baisan ki Naan Khatai?! If this works out I’d be hailed in my diabetic/calorie conscious family. When you mention flour in the ingredients is that atta or maida?

      Use maida and you can also use sucral or any other sweetener in powdered form…
