Benefits of melon
Musk melon has vitamin B and Vitamin A.It is also called cantaloupe.The health benefits of watermelon include the prevention of kidney disorders, high blood pressure, the prevention of cancer, diabetes, heart disease, heat stroke.
Musk melon drink recipe::::
One musk melon ,peeled and cut into cubes
2cups of milk
2 table spoon sugar
Blend all ingredients in blender, serve chilled .
Another way of making Musk melon drink….
250 gms musk melon,,, (peeled and chopped into chunks)
2 tbsp Sugar
½ cup water
1 tsp lemon juice
black salt as per taste
few ice cubes (optional)
HOW TO MAKE THE RECIPE?
Peel the musk melon gently slice the top skin which consist of seeds.
Discard the seeds and keep aside. Chop the melons into chunks.
Combine melon chunks, sugar,lemon juice and water into a juicer.
Grind until all blends well. Sieve the juice on a mesh strainer.
Collect in a vessel.
Lastly add black salt. Serve musk melon juice into glasses. Top with ice cubes.
1.You could add roasted cumin powder Or chat masala for variation.
2.Once you make the juice drink them soon else its starts fermenting
Few Quick Serving Ideas
Add some sparkling water to fresh squeezed musk melon juice for a delightfully refreshing drink in the warm months of the year.
In a blender or food processor, purée melon and peeled soft peaches to make delicious cold soup. Add lemon juice and honey to taste.
Mix with seasonal fruits to make fruit chaat.
Cut in small cubes add some sugar and ice cubes and serve chilled.
Top melon slices with yogurt and chopped mint.
Slice melons in half horizontally, scoop out seeds and use each half as a basket in which to serve fruit salad.
