It is a layered biscuit pudding with chocolate custard,topped with sliced strawberries and white chocolate chips…….
Milk – 3 cup
Sugar – ½ cup
Cocoa powder –1 tbsp
Vanilla custard powder–3 tbsp
Crushed Marie biscuit or any tea biscuits– 16
Instant coffee powder – 1 tsp (mixed in 2tbsp of hot water)
Strawberries (sliced) and white chocolate chips ,,,to garnish
For chocolate custard,,,,
Combine together ½ cup cold milk, cocoa powder and custard powder and keep it ready. Boil 3 cup milk and ½ cup sugar in a sauce pan. Add the cocoa – custard – milk mixture to the boiling milk stirring continuously over low flame.
cook over low flame till thick stirring continuously. When thick, remove this from the flame and let it cool for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Now take a serving dish.Spread a layer of all crushed biscuits.Then pour the coffee mixture over the biscuits layer in the dessert tray. Pour all of the prepared chocolate mixture over the biscuit layer and spread evenly. Let it cool in refrigerator for one hour.
Now decorate with sliced strawberries.
Sprinkle the white chocolate chips on top.
Cool it for 4 – 5 hours. Serve chilled.
This pudding tastes the best next day,but will not be best presentatable ..
