Qeema handi (minced meat handi)

Qeema  handi
Ingredients:

Beef or chicken or lamb minced meat 1/2 kg

Butter or oil 4 tablespoons

Salt 1 tsp
Chili powder 1 n 1/2 tsp
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Roasted Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
Roasted Coriander powder 1 n 1/2 teaspoon

Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon

Yogurt 1/2 cup

(grind 1 tsp poppy seeds in coffee grinder with 1 tbsp Desicated coconut )

Green chilies 4
2 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves
1 cup chopped Onions


Method:
Heat butter in a handi…put onion ,fry nicely till golden brown.


Now add ginger garlic paste and fry for 5 minutes.
Now add beef minced meat,salt, chili powder, turmeric,yogurt,cumin powder, , coriander  powder ,and ,grinded mixture of poppy seeds,,,

Fry for 5 minutes and


Cover it and cook for 2 hours to get a smooth texture.keep the flame very  low.if you are using chicken mince then cooking time will be 1 hour.


In end, add garam masala powder,coriander leaves and green chilies.

 

 serve with naan  ,paratha or sheermaal.
