Ginger. 1inch piece sliced
Garlic. 2 tbsp
Oil half cup
Yougurt. 1 cup
raw papaya grinded 1 tbsp
whole red chilli 13
Peanuts 1 tbsp
roasted cumin pwd1 tsp
garam Masala pwd1 tsp
salt 2 tsp
1 whole chicken weight 1 to 1.5 kg
Heat oil in a big pot .fry onion till golden brown.
then fry ginger and garlic till golden.
take out from oil.
Now in same oil fry red chillies and peanuts,then take them out.
Now blend onion ginger garlic red chilli and peanuts with yougurt.add remaining ingredients in this mixture .marinate chicken with this blended mixture for 30 minutes.
In the same oil that we used for frying onions etc,Cook marinated chicken on low flame for 15 minutes .now turn the side of chicken and cook for another 15 minutes.
Good quality Basmati rice 3cup (washed and soaked)
Garlic 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 n 1/2 tsp
oil 5 tbsp
2 Medium size Onion sliced
cumin powder 1 tsp
Fennel seed powder 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander Powder 1 teaspoon
Heat oil in a pot.
Now add soaked rice with water and cook on high flame….water level should cover the rice.
When all water dries out,stir well..
Heat a griddle pan and place the pot over it.
Steam the rice over very low heat for 15 minutes.
Put cooked chicken with masala in a serving dish.fill it with prepared rice,almonds and boiled eggs. serve hot.
