Shahi Tukray with cream

Bread slices (diagonally sliced) 8
Oil for frying
Yellow food colour 1/2 tsp
Milk 1 liter (reduced 750 ml)
Sugar 1 cup
Whipy whip cream 250 ml
Saffron a pinch
Sliced Almonds and pistachios for garnishing
Cardamoms (grounded) 1 tsp
Cooking Directions
Trim the bread crusts from the bread.
Shallow fry till golden brown.

Cook milk,cardamom ,food colour and sugar on low heat till your have a thick sauce mixture.
Cover the bread with cream.
Grind saffron in 1 tsp kewra essences(optional)
Pour this in milk sugar mixture.
Pour the hot thick milk on top of bread .Cover and let the bread soak in the moisture.
Sprinkle the nuts on top
Serve hot or cold.
