Corn and peas pulao (for 6 -8 persons)
Good quality Seela rice or Basmati rice 4 cup (washed and soaked)
Garlic 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Salt 3 tsp
oil 5 tbsp
1 Medium size Onion chopped
Cinnamon sticks 3
cumin 1 tsp
black cardamom 2
Boiled corn 1 cup
Peas 2 cups
Green chillies 4
Heat oil in a pot.
Add onion and garlic , fry till they are lightly brown.
Then add whole (spices)garam masala .
Now add salt ,red chilli powder ,tomatoes,green chillies,potatoes ,peas,corn,coriander and mint leaves…..fry nicely on high flame till the oil starts to float ..
Now add soaked rice with water….water level should cover the rice as in picture…
Heat a griddle pan and place the pot over it.
Steam the pulao over very low heat for 15 minutes.
