dhuan dahi chicken(Smoky yogurt chicken)

DHUAN DAHi CHICKEN(smoky yogurt chicken)
1: chicken boneless 1/2 kg(cut in 2 inch pieces)

2: yogurt 1 1/2 cup

3: onions 1 large (finely chopped)

4: coriander powder 1tbs

5: salt 1 tsp

6: turmeric 1/2 tsp

7: red chilli powder 1 tsp

8: roasted cumin powder 1 tsp

9: ginger and garlic paste1tbs(heaped)

10: onion 1 (cut in thick rings)

11: coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

12: garam masala 1 /2 tsp

13: green chilli 2 to 3

14: coal

15: oil 1/2 cup
Recipe:

heat the oil add chopped onions, ginger & garlic paste fry on high flame till light golden.


then add the chicken and cook on high flame till the chicken changes colour.


add the salt, red chilli, cumin pwd,coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric, 1 cup yogurt mix well cover and cook till the oil comes on the surface on medium flame.


 SERVING

make the coal red hot.

place the cooked chicken in a oven proof dish top it with the remaining yogurt, onion rings, coriander,green chilli, then place a piece of foil in the middle add the hot coal spoon 1 tsp of oil cover and wait till the smoke settles.


 serve hot with puri or paratha..
