mutton shorba

shorba (for 6 persons)
Mutton  1 kg, with bones

oil 5 tbsp

Onions 4 (sliced)

Ginger paste 2 tbsp

Garlic paste 2 tbsp

Red chili powder 1 tbsp

Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Coriander powder roasted 1 tsp
Salt 1 n 1/2 tsp

Roasted cumin  powder 1 tsp

Roasted fennel seed powder(saunf)

Yogurt 1 /4 cup
Cooking Directions

Heat oil in a pot.

Add sliced onion, fry till they are lightly brown.take it out from oil.Then

Add in ginger paste and garlic paste, fry again till it releases aroma.

Then add mutton fry nicely till the oil starts to float.
Grind fried onions and yogurt.
Now mix well grinded mixture in mutton .
Mix in salt,coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric ,cumin pwd,fennel seed pwd and fry well.
 Add 2 cups of hot water and Simmer on low flame till the oil starts to float and meat is tender.

Garnish with green chillies and coriander leaves.
